Foster Care Program

Many people would love to do something to help a horse rescue but are unable to own a horse. One great way you can help Saffyre Sanctuary continue our efforts without physically adopting a horse is through "Virtual Foster Care." Saffyre Sanctuary's equine maintenance program goes beyond "normal" care. Every horse receives an individualized holistic feed and rehabilitation program, which makes our average monthly costs substantial. One of our sanctuary horses' average monthly maintenance amount is $1500.00, which includes hay, grain, supplements, shavings, farrier costs, dental care, veterinary care, and specialized treatments, such as chiropractic or acupuncture.

 

You can help sponsor one of our rescued horses with a monthly or yearly donation and get the pleasure of owning a virtual horse while they are going through the process of rehabilitation and recovery. Your gift to the "Virtual Foster Care" program allows us to provide a permanent sanctuary for our resident horses and helps support all the horses that benefit from our programs.

 

You can always visit and care for your fostered horse at any time during our normal hours of operation.

 

When you sign up for a monthly sponsorship you will receive:

 

• A Saffyre Sanctuary, Inc. T-Shirt and Hat

• A picture and description of the horse you are sponsoring

• A certificate of your tax deduction

• Free admission to all of our events, including our Sanctuary Celebrity Fundraiser

Platinum Sponsorship - $1500.00 / month

(monthly care for one horse)

  (two weeks of care for one horse)

    Silver Sponsorship - $375.00 / month

  (one week of care for one horse)
